Candy Witch.

Witches are (predominantly female) humans who practice magic, and can be either good or evil.

Description[]

The origin of witches and their craft remains unknown, however tjese practitioners of magic have existed for many centuries, passing down their knowledge and skills through (predominantly) female generations. Good, or "White" Witches, are witches who use their powers for good.

Evil, or "Dark" Witches use their powers for evil. Unlike their antithesis "White" Witches who's indistinguishable from normal humans, "Dark" Witches are best described as ruined, terrible form of life by contrast. Dark Magic they practiced had since mutilated their very being, symptoms include animalistic characteristics (e.g. horns, multiple heads, bizarre skin colors, etc.). Only a exceptionally powerful of them who can revert to their original appearance. Their greatest weakness is fire.

Hierarchy[]

Witches often live in large groups or covens, and are led by "Grand Witches". These individuals are the most powerful in the group, and are the only members that can willingly change their form in order to look like and blend in with ordinary humans. These groups often meet together in Sabbaths.

Magical Abilities[]

Witches were known to use a variety of magical spells and tools, including but not limited to:

  • Candles: Materials used to amplify a witch’s spell.
  • Grimoires: A family journal documented with ancient recipes, rituals, and spells.
  • Flying Broomstick: They are used to fly.
  • Wands: They channel their power using wands.

Trivia[]

  • Witches are known to domesticate and make servants out of trolls, since "trolls serve witches".
  • According to the movie, only Dark Witches use wands, as evidenced by Muriel's surprise at Mina using one. It is unknown if White Witches use broomsticks.
  • There was a potion that could be made by Dark Witches that involved using the heart of a White Witch and sacrificing twelve children under a Blood Moon in order to grant them immunity to fire.
  • A lot of humans are unaware about the distinction between White and Dark Witches, as evidenced by the execution and near-execution of Adrianna and Mina. In addition of superstitions, this could be attributed to majorities of known Dark Witches who terrorized locals were either not fully mutated or worse, able to switch between their original and corrupted states like Muriel did.
